Merely asking for a spare part
Merely asking for a spare part. Been told no, go to manufacturer. I've tried to ring the manufacturer "Croft" cannot find the contact details online. Asked QD to supply, told me no. Yet they told me to contact the manufacturer themselves. Just need one roof bar that holds the curtain into place on my grey gazebo I purchased from you last August. Don't even mind paying for it, just need it. Really bad customer service. Feel free to send me their details or help in anyway. Order no 90528066. Email address should be on file. Ringing you no answer!
Please resolve our at least provide me with the manufacturer details so I can ask. Poor service!

If I could give it no stars I would have.
Avoid this shop!!! We have a parasol that has broken after a handful of uses, I have rang numerous times, emailed and spoken to their “online chat” and messaged on Facebook and no one has come back to me in regards helping to get a exchange or refund?? Avoid!! As if any problem with your item they don’t ever get back to you!!!!

The first time I used QD to order a gazebo for my garden. The price is great value as the gazebo is main frame is made from aluminium which means it won't rust over time, vert sturdy and looks great!

TERRIBLE COMPANY, NO REFUNDS
TERRIBLE COMPANY WOULD NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN. Beware that they do NOT do any refunds when bought in store. Fitting rooms closed so no option to try anything on, sizing very dubious too, Still won't refund.

Gazebobar
Bought a Gazebobar online from QD on advice of staff at local store member. Was delivered on day arranged but also taken back on same day? New arrangements made which were fine. Attempted to erect bar with poor instructions. When making up chairs both were damaged along with top cover. Eventually, replacements were sent but not a good experience in contacting QD by phone or online. Would never purchase from QD online ever again!

Items I ordered never received and when I eventually got hold of customer service, they told me they had not received payment and could do no more to help. Payment had been taken from my account 2 weeks before this, so I’m unsure where this would have gone.
Would not purchase from company again.

Bought Venetian wood slat blinds for my house 2 months ago, every blind was a different colour , they apologised collected and resent blinds , exactly the same blinds were resent , so eventually I have been told they can’t colour match the blinds so my bay windows would have 3 different colour blinds ?, so another 2 weeks later and I’m still waiting for the blinds to be collected and refund sent , I was offered 10% off even tho I’ve spend 9 hours off work waiting for drop offs and pick up of blinds within a 3 hour delivery slot , absolute joke of a company

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
I ordered a Gazebo and two bags of compost from them. When checking out with paypal, it told me the delivery service was not available and then proceeded to charge a furtehr £35 for pallet delivery without authorisation.

I immediately went to their website and banged my head against the wall with the chat robot trying to deal with this. It sent messages back to their HQ, including my request to simply cancel the order. I then received a dispatch notification for one of the items (when i had cancelled it).

I have tried calling them three times and no answer - they arent taking calls.

I have opened a Paypal case. if this is unsuccessful, I shall have no hesitation in taking this company to court. The worst experience I have ever experienced.

Joined their poor serviceapp sent me code for 10%…
Joined their app sent me code for 10% off didn’t work then they gave me code for £5?off as birthday didn’t work can’t get to speak to anyone on live chat sent 2 emails no response and tried calling 3 times on phone over 15 mins no answer
They might have good prices but wouldn’t trust them as their customer service is terrible

Good experience
We have been shopping at QD for years and I must say, we have never had a bad experience. Good mix of product and reasonable prices. Since QD took over the Podington Garden Centre, it is much more interesting to look around.

This company are scammers
This company are scammers. They stole my money (£718.99)
I ordered a table with six chairs that never arrived, i pay it with credit card. Now i dont't neve a table and they haven't returned the money but i pay interest on my credit card.
Contact with them was absolutely useless.
Today i contacted with Financial ombudsman and open case, he said i would get my money with interest.
Don't buy from this company you won't get anything and you won't get your money either.
!!!!!!!!!DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!

QD Quality Discount Store Oakham Rutland Very Poor Experience
(THE REPLY FROM QD STATES THE MATTER HAS BEEN RESOLVED I AM NOT AWARE OF THIS WHAT DO THEY MEAN BY THIS NOTHING HAS CHANGED SINCE I POSTED THIS REVIEW. PERHAPS THEY CAN TELL ME HOW THIS HAS BEEN RESOLVED) Something has gone very wrong wrong with this company, my recent experience at QD Oakham was a very traumatic and embarrassing one.
I originally had a minor customer service issue at the store. I contacted head office.
Although Customer Services was very helpful. The same could not be said of the new store manager. I accepted with some disappointment the outcome on Friday 22nd October. I returned to the store 4 more times to shop to purchase DIY products. On the Saturday, I was served by a young lady who appeared not to be able to speak but did not complain. On my fourth visit, I entered the store selected my purchases from upstairs and downstairs and was about to go and pay and the manager approached me and ordered me out of the store, stating I was banned in front of all the customers she would not explain why, she told me to call head office because they would be sending me a banning order. she did not appear to be experiencing any fear, she appeared to be enjoying the experience. I left the store quite distressed and embarrassed. I called Head Office and spoke to a senior manager and he soon emailed a response to me. The store manager had responded to a head office investigation into my original complaint by dishonestly stating I had approached her outside her place of work and this caused her fear. I did not do this this and can not understand why QD now entertain such dishonesty. It is a great shame. Although QD does not sell to many essential items I have made many impulse purchases since the store opened. The store used to be a enjoyable place to visit. It is a shame the old manager has gone along with many of the other good staff. There are still some good staff some who great and thanks using my name. :-(
The manager at Head Office said I could still buy the items I wanted on-line, I don't think so...
